One of the unique aspects of our organization is that we start from casting of copper all the way till the finished product. Apart from being able to maintain quality and traceability, we are also able to respond faster to impromptu customer demands.

The commodity we are dealing with is often classified as a ‘Class C’ commodity in the supply chain terminology. What that means is that our customers cannot always predict the consumption patterns. However, not being able to deliver to the end user can result in astronomical costs including line stoppages that could cost over hundreds of thousands of dollars a day in opportunity costs and penalties.

We at Sigma understand the nature of our business and have taken steps to reduce lead times to our customers. This is just one more way we like to differentiate ourselves from the competition – by being a service oriented organization that our customers can rely upon.
